The Story Behind MixerMate

For years, I struggled with kneading heavy dough at home. My stand mixer — as much as I loved it — would start “walking” across the counter every time I mixed something serious. It even fell down twice. I tried everything: towels, random silicone mats from the market, makeshift solutions… nothing worked. The mats available were all the wrong size and none of them could actually hold a heavy mixer in place.

That’s when the idea for MixerMate was born.

I started experimenting with my own non-slip base — one that would perfectly fit a stand mixer and stay firmly in place, no matter how tough the dough. After two years of testing in my own home restaurant, improving, adjusting, kneading, and baking hundreds of batches of dough… we finally created the product I wished had existed from the beginning.
